Shareholders

As of 31 March 2017 Cloetta had 16,941 shareholders. The principal shareholder was AB Malfors Promotor, with a holding corresponding to 36.1 per cent of the votes and 24.7 per cent of the share capital in the company.

Threadneedle was the second largest shareholder with a holding corresponding to 4.4 per cent of the votes and 5.8 per cent of the share capital. The third largest shareholder was Wellington Management with a holding corresponding to 4.3 per cent of the votes and 5.1 per cent of the share capital in the company.

Institutional investors held 90.9 per cent of the votes and 89.3 per cent of the share capital. Foreign shareholders held 45.3 per cent of the votes and 53.4 per cent of the share capital.

The number of shares amounted to 288,619,299, of which 5,735,249 were of class A and 282,884,050 were of class B.
