Salary structure

One key component in perceiving that you work in an attractive workplace is linked to the feeling of being paid fairly and that the company has a well-grounded salary structure.

Salary structureFor several years Cloetta has been working closely with one of the major consulting companies to develop an optimised framework and strategy for Cloetta’s reward/salary structure. All positions at Cloetta have been evaluated and plotted on a matrix where comparable jobs are ranked similarly regardless of country or function.

This has then been linked to a salary structure which is benchmarked against other food manufacturing companies in each country. The results provide an excellent basis for future salary reviews, where existing salary level and the year’s performance are key parameters in the framework that is now in place.

Senior managers have variable salaries and long-term share-based incentive programmes. Other benefits such as training, etc., vary from country to country.
