Corporate Responsibility at Cloetta is governed by the Cloetta Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct is a set of guidelines and principles for how we do business.
It builds on Cloettas core values; Focus, Passion, Teamplay and Pride. Cloetta is member of the UN Global Compact and recognises their ten principles and also strives to promote them in the society and the environments where Cloetta is active.
The Cloetta Code of Conduct applies to all of our activities in all markets and countries. The principles outlined in this document apply to our relationships with employees, customers, consumers, suppliers, competitors, official authorities and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO).
Code of Conduct for Cloetta suppliers
Cloetta places rigorous demands on our suppliers. As part of this work, Cloetta has broken down the general Code of Conduct to a specific code of conduct that our suppliers must follow. Read more about Cloetta´s work with sustainable sourcing under Cloetta´s sustainability commitment.
The principles in the Code of Conduct are aligned with the conventions:
- The UNs declaration of Human Rights
- ILO conventions
- The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines for multinational enterprises
- The ICC framework for responsible marketing of food and beverages
- European Brand Association
- The UNs Global Compact
